Why

Dicaeum retrocinctum Gould (Philippines) = Scarlet-collared Flowerpecker: the two males with the scarlet hind-collar.

Why

Gould's supposed female (Mindanao), white-throated and grey below with a red stripe down the belly, is the Red-keeled Flowerpecker (then D. papuense); Gould corrects himself in his text to II.37, after Sharpe and Salvadori.
