Why

Sitta castaneoventris Franklin = Sitta castanea, Indian Nuthatch, which eBird splits from Chestnut-bellied: Gould's figures are small, slender-billed birds from Gorakhpur on the Gangetic plain, and he keeps the stout-billed S. cinnamoventris (II.44) apart.
