Why

Gould's synonymy makes magna his Cysticola campestris (PZS 1845), the name of the Natal race of Rattling Cisticola, C. c. campestris. Strickland's single specimen had no locality and came in a 'general collection of Australian birds'. Sharpe (Cat. Birds BM vii) lists campestris and this plate under C. chiniana. It is an African bird.
