Why

Broad-billed Prion by Forster's vittata, Gould's 'largest species of Prion' and the broad, swollen bill on the plate. eBird 2025 splits MacGillivray's Prion of Amsterdam and St Paul, the one place Gould saw the bird himself, and he names no figured specimen, so the call is judged rather than certain.
