Why

Ruticilla tithys (Scopoli) = Black Redstart, Phoenicurus ochruros; Gould's European bird, which his synonymy also gives as Gmelin's Gibraltariensis, is the grey-backed western race P. o. gibraltariensis, not the black-bellied nominate of the Caucasus and Iran.
