Aegiothus linaria, the Mealy Redpole = Redpoll, Acanthis flammea, its nominate Mealy race A. f. flammea; eBird 2025 lumps the redpolls. Gould's synonymy takes in his Linaria canescens of The Birds of Europe (plate 193).
