Why

Falco concolor Temm. is the Sooty Falcon, and the figure is one: uniform pale lead-grey with blackish primaries and no moustache, where a dark Eleonora's Falcon is sooty brown-black. Gould gives the Nile and Abyssinia; Sharpe cites the plate under F. concolor.
