Why

Hirundo rufula Temm. is the European Red-rumped Swallow, Cecropis rufula, one of the daughters of eBird 2025's split of Red-rumped Swallow; BirdNET still lumps it as C. daurica, the name eBird now keeps for the Eastern bird.
