Why

Audubon's “Columbian Water Ouzel” (Cinclus townsendi, fig. 1, the barred female) and Townsend's “Arctic Water Ouzel” (C. mortoni, fig. 2, a male) are both today's American Dipper, figured as two new species; its main plate is 370.
