Why

Ficedula hypolais (Motacilla hippolais Linn.) = Icterine Warbler, Hippolais icterina. Gould's English 'Melodious Warbler' is today's name of H. polyglotta, which he lists apart; his birds (Holland; Kent, 1848; Ireland, 1856) and the plate's long primary projection are Icterine.
